Go to the "View" menu and select "Internet Options".
In the window "Internet Options", click the "Security" tab.
Select the zone "Internet".
On this tab, if the "Security Level" is set to "Medium" or "Low", you do not need to make any
changes.
If the "Security Level" is set to "High", please make sure that you really want to modify the security settings of your browser before making any changes. If this is not a problem, click the button "Custom
Level..."
If the "Security Level" is set to "Custom", click the button "Custom
Level..."
Select "Enable" for the "Active Scripting" option under the heading "Scripting".
Since Adobe Acrobat Reader in Internet Explorer uses ActiveX, you must also enable the use of
ActiveX.
In the window "Security Settings", select "Enable" for the option "Run ActiveX controls and plugins"
(see below).
